The Cotton Club is seeking experienced female dancers that are well-spoken, friendly, & can put on a show like no other. Are you a true performer that loves to dazzle an audience and push the limit?
Our clientele ranges from locals, tourists, university students, military personnel, business & tradespeople. We are in the core of downtown near high-end restaurants, boutique hotels, and the entertainment district but still only ten minutes from a picturesque fishing village, Quidi Vidi.
We operate in an old stone building that was once a catholic school for girls (seriously!) on the corner of infamous George Street.
The club opens at 6 pm (8 pm in the winter) so you have your days free to roam the oldest city in North America and there is so much to do here. You can shop, eat, & even take a whale tour all within minutes of the club so you’ll never be bored or have to pay a lot for transportation to see the sights.
The Cotton Club welcomes travelling entertainers and has a residence available for 1 – 6 weeks at a time. It has wifi, linens, dishes, and laundry plus it is near all amenities. It is best to book ahead of time to ensure there is a vacancy for the time you want to travel. We also hire locally and offer flexible schedules.

We don’t open until 6 pm (8 pm in winter) so you have your days free to explore the city or book practice stage time.
Do You Qualify?
You must meet the following criteria to be booked at The Cotton Club as an entertainer.
- All entertainers must be 19 years or older.
- You will be required to show government photo identification such as a license or passport.
- Eligible entertainers are legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Entertainers must be able to speak fluent English. Other languages are a plus!
- All entertainers are expected to be punctual and adhere to a previously agreed-upon schedule. The club opens at 6 pm (8 pm in winter) and we have incentives for dancers who are on time and ready to work when scheduled.
- Our entertainers must be well-groomed and take pride in their appearance.
- Entertainers must provide their own costumes and anything required for their performance including shoes. We allow burlesque-style props such as feather fans, hoops, & poi.
- Entertainers must have some dance experience whether it is in the adult industry or more traditional means.
